Polly Mae Pangle

Meet our new little addition...Our little girl, "Polly" Mae Pangle. We got her on Friday, August 24, 2012. She is 6 weeks old and was born on July 14th. She is a Golden Retriever and a true beauty! We had been looking for several months to adopt a older Golden through Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta. It didn't work out for us so we decided to surprise the boys with a puppy. We went and picked her up Friday morning and had her waiting here for when the boys got home from school. Needless to say we had some very excited little boys!! They say that she is the best dog ever and the cutest little dog they have ever seen. We look forward to many fun years with our girl!!

Grainy photos...

I have no idea why all my pictures always look so grainy on my blog. They are really not grainy at all. This is always very frustrating to me..... I had to vent.....

Henry's Lost his first tooth

Last Saturday, August 18, 2012 Henry lost his first tooth. It had been really loose for a couple of days. Henry was really scared about it falling out. He was afraid of the blood, and just the unknown. If you know Henry he worries about everything. We were sitting on couch getting ready to head out to Grandma and Granddaddy's house for dinner. Eric was talking to Henry and looked at him funny and said, "Henry where is your tooth". It took Henry by surprise and all of us by surprise. Where was his tooth and when did it fall out? We searched the floor and couldn't find it anywhere. He had eaten a pop tart a little before we noticed it. All we can think of is that he swallowed it. It was a great thing it happened this way for Henry because he didn't have time to freak out. He was so excited and couldn't wait to go tell his Grandparents. I will say it is really cute! It amazes me how much it changes their little look. Since we didn't have a tooth to put under his pillow we had to write the tooth fairy a note explaining the situation and to beg her to leave money. She was super nice and left him a few dollars!!! Such a big night for Henry!!

He might need some water intervention

Visit from Carrie

Last week my dear friend Carrie came in town to see new house and to hang out with boys. We had such a wonderful visit! Unfortunately this was the only picture I took. Henry was showing her all of his wrestlers. The boys love Carrie and it was great having her here!!

Recycle Bin Snatcher

Foster is obsessed also with his kitchen. He loves to pretend cooking.  He plays with this all the time.  His new thing is going out in my garage and grabbing items out of the recycling bin to use in his kitchen.  Its a good thing I rinse everything out before I put it in bin.  Why in the world would anyone buy play food or kitchen items?  My trash works well, and also my own cooking utensils.  If I ever can't find a spatula, egg beater, or baster I know where to look....In Foster's Kitchen.

First day of school..

On August 6, 2012 Walker started 3rd grade, and Henry started 1st. I can't believe how grown they are. It was their first day at a new school as well. They are going to Duncan Creek this year and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a fantastic year! Don't judge me by their clothes.... This was really hard for me. This year I decided to let go a little bit and let them have a say in the shoes that I buy. Woah, blue shoes and black shoes???? The good thing is they feel cooler than cool! I did buy a mom approved pair that they have to wear sometimes to. At least they are in khaki shorts and not athletic shorts. That seems to be the new fad these days to and that one is a hard one for me to do to. I let them wear athletic shorts a few times a week and khakis like twice a week. I mean they are boys and they need to feel cool so whatever! They a still cute anyways! We look forward to a wonderful year! They had an awesome first day of school!
