Walker Golf Camp 2010

Walker did Golf Camp again this year at Reunion.  He had so much fun!  He is really a great golfer and it certainly runs in the blood.  His coach thought that he was 7 1/2 and couldn't believe that he was only 6.  He offered us to send Walker to the advanced camp later this summer.  He had nothing but awesome things to say about Walker.  Of course, I loved hearing it and hope that Walker keeps it up.

Father and Son Golf Tournament at Chateau Elan

A few shots of Henry

Walker and Eric played in their first golf tournament this past Saturday.  Walker was so excited to be able to play in a real tournament with his daddy!  They played the par 3 at Chateau Elan.  They used 3 of Walker's shots, which was awesome!  They tied for 3rd place with a score of 29.  Walker was one of the youngest out there and did really good!  Henry and I joined them when they were half way done.  We enjoyed walking with them and snapping pictures.  Henry actually got to hit a few himself!  We had so much fun and we will get to experience many many more of these with having 3 boys!

My new Saturday morning ritual

I started off this morning in a wonderful way!  As I was pouring my first cup of coffee, I looked out the window and my front porch was calling my name.  The boys were entertained with a morning cartoon so I took the moment and stepped outside.  I was just enjoying the peace and quite with the sounds of nature!  My grandmother aka "Meme" gave Henry this red bird house for his birthday last year.  He has always been fascinated with birds.  We hung it in our tree in the front yard and really haven't had much action until recently.  I have noticed these 2 little semi blue birds (not sure of their correct name, I should refer to Henry's bird book) coming back and forth to the house.  As I was enjoying my time this morning here they come!  I ran inside to get my camera and enjoyed snapping pictures and being fascinated of how they work.  I think that I could become a bird watcher.  It was so relaxing and so peaceful to sit back and watch these little birds work!  I think I am going to make this my Saturday morning ritual!

Henry dancing to Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas
The bride requested this song for Henry.  He calls it "Boom Boom gotta gep gep".  As soon as he heard it he ran out onto the dance floor.  He had a huge circle of people around him.  It was definitely the hit of the night!  I, along with many others were laughing so hard we were crying!  There is a video that I will post later!

My dear friend and my boys!

This past weekend we went down to Emerald Isle, North Carolina for the wedding!  I had the honor of being one of the bridesmaids!  It was absolutely the most perfect beach wedding!  It was a ton of fun for everyone! The boys enjoyed playing on the beach and swimming in the pool.  I had so much fun hanging out with my family and of course all of my girlfriends!  It was an awesome weekend, one I will never forget!  Congratulations Mitch and Carrie!!!!
