Happy New Year!

We found out on New Years Day that we are going to have another baby! We are so excited! It was a wonderful way to start off the New Years! The baby's due date is Sept 10. We are so excited to add another beautiful baby to our family!

Medieval Times

On the night of Walker's Birthday we surprised him and John Lawrence by taking them to Medieval times! We wanted to keep where we were going a secret because we just knew that they would die. They were so cute at guessing where we were going. Walker thought that we were going to get ice cream. John Lawrence thought that he was coming to our house to play battleship. They had no idea!! When we pulled up they both got unbuckled as fast as they could. They were like, are we going in that castle? They were so excited they couldn't stand themselves!

The boys looking at real swords!

The king granting Walker the title of Lord of the Realm.

The boys walking into the arena

The boys giving Cheers
The boys raising their flags as we were walking out
Do you think they had a blast?
We had so much fun! The boys were in pure amazement! They couldn't believe that there were real horses and real knights. It was such a fun experience and I think that this is something that we will do again in the future for special occasions. When we left we came home had cake and ice cream. Walker and JL stayed up until 12:30 playing the Wii. Eric had to make them go to bed at that point. Needless to say it was a fun filled evening!

December 30 2009~ Walker turns 6

Our sweet little Walker turned 6 on December 30th. I can not believe he is six! He is a big boy but will always be my baby! We are so proud of the little boy that he has become! He is so sweet and extremely laid back! He is so easy and always has been!
A few things that Walker is into: Basketball, playing the Wii, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Magic, playing with friends, riding his bike, playing anything outside! When he came into this world was the best day of our lives!!!! We love you so much Walker!!!!

The Big Move which is a little "tricky"!

Eric took off work the week after Christmas and through the New Year. We had one very big project. Put both boys in one room. This meant changing 3 rooms. It was alot of work and we got most of it done. We wanted to paint the boys new room blue. It took 2 coats and it is a very big room in itself. Painting took 2 days with interruptions from the kids and Walker was nearing the end of his sickness. I started out letting the boys help us paint but it didn't last very long. They or I should say Henry was getting paint everywhere. They had fun while it lasted. However they have not really even slept in there together yet. When Walker was sick he slept in the bed with us. Then Henry got sick this past Thursday night and has been in our bed ever since. Hopefully by this weekend everyone will be healthy and they can sleep in there together. I will show you before and after pictures later. I have not hung up the pictures or anything on the walls because I want my Aunt Kathy to take a look and give me her ideas (she is an interior decorator). Once I get it done I will post more pics. I think the boys will love it!

Here is a pic of Eric giving Walker, Henry, and Georgia the run down before we get started!

I am going to leave you with a little "tricky" by Henry

Christmas Day 2009

Boys waiting patiently to go downstairs to see what Santa left for them!

Santa has came!
Our Wildcat~ Henry
Our Gamecock~ Walker

Henry's favorite thing was his box's of mac and cheese! ha ha
Walker was so excited that he got a DS
A stocking stuffer that both boys loved!
1,2,3 Hut
Ninjas fighting
Grandma opening her gift from us
Granddaddy now has a UVA coffee mug
Walker was so pumped about getting the Wii from Grandma and Granddaddy! He asked for it from Santa but never said a word when Santa didn't bring it. When he opened it he said, "Yea, I don't have to ask Santa for it next year!" Precious! The boys were real excited about the Wii
We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! This year was our turn to spend Christmas with Eric's parents. They got here around lunch time on Christmas day! We loved spending Christmas with them and they boys of course loved every minute they were here! I think Granddaddy played just about every game we have here in our house! Unfortunately Walker got sick that afternoon and was sick from Christmas (Friday) until the following Tuesday. Once he started feeling better he was able to play with his toys! Henry really cracked us up with his comments that he made Christmas morning. When he found the mac and cheese he said, "I have waited my whole life for this". Ha (I think Santa got it out of the pantry). I do feed the child and he really doesn't even like mac and cheese anyways. He loved his dry erase board and said, "I have waited 5 years for this". He is only 3. He just cracks us up all the time! Walker just smiled and said that he loved all of his gifts! They are 2 sweet boys! Oh yeah, they both loved loved their football uniforms! Henry was so excited to get a Kentucky Wildcat Uniform. The story behind him being a fan is this. The Saturday that Carolina was playing Kentucky I, like I did every Saturday put the boys on their Carolina shirts for good luck. Henry ripped his shirt off and threw it in the floor and said, "No I am not a Carolina fan I am a Kentucky Wildcat". Since then he is a Wildcat and is very insistent on it! Walker thank goodness is a true Gamecock! Needless to say, Christmas was Awesome and we look forward to many many more!

Christmas Eve 2009

We always go to our Church on Christmas Eve. They have a service at 5. The boys sing in the program. However Henry ran off stage crying because he wanted his mommy!

They boys opening a present from Eric and I.
Georgia even got a present!
The boys leaving reindeer food for the Santa's deer

Christmas cookies and milk for Santa. Cheese for Santa mouse. (this was my last piece of cheese and I know that it looks bad, too bad for us to eat but not for Santa Mouse!)
Daddy reading "Twas the night before Christmas" to the boys
The boys were so excited on Christmas Eve! We had such a fun family day of hanging out and delivering Christmas goodies to the neighbors! The boys went to bed pretty good too! We wore them out during the day!

A few of my favorite things! (Christmas decor)

Better late than never right! I know that I am behind so here we go!

My most favorite thing this beautiful picture of Santa! I loved this picture when I first saw it. My in-law's surprised me with it last year for Christmas! I will treasure it forever!

This beautiful picture Walker made this year! I am going to get a frame for it and put it out every year! I love it! He did such a wonderful job!
This is a picture of my Christmas Cactus that my grandmother gave me! A very sentimental plant that I will treasure forever and ever!
