We are truly amazed at what Walker is reading in first grade. Since the beginning of the year, his teacher sends home a book every day and he has to read a chapter a night. When the book is done then he has to take an AR test on it. Once he finishes a book, another one is sent home. He is doing so well with reading and we are very proud of him. This particular book has 13 chapters and has 158 pages. I know that I wasn't reading books like these in the first grade! We are so glad that his school and teacher puts such a big emphasis on reading. Good job Walker!!!
