Stone Mountain Christmas

Maybe last minute but on December 23rd we finally made it to Stone Mountain for their Christmas lights. Posted in a earlier post we attempted to go earlier but got there and they were not letting anyone else in the park due to overcrowdedness. So the only other time we could go was 2 days before Christmas. It was so Magical! I'm not sure who had more fun Eric and I or the kids. We felt like kids ourselves. This place is so magical at Christmas time! It makes you love having children during this special time! They have so much to do and we just about did it all! They open with a christmas parade, you get to make your own cookies, visit Santa, watch the Polar Express 4D, ride a train around the park which stops for a little narration ( which is great), roast marshmellows, laser show, putt-putt, and my favorite the snow angel. They have more but that is all we did. My parents actually got the boys a year family pass to Stone Mountain for Christmas. They gave us our passes early this year so that we could go to the Christmas and get one more Christmas out of it next year. We are going to use this pass all the time, especially Kim and I and the boys. There is so much to do there year round. This year they actually just opened up snow tubing! We are going to try this out this very soon! They are going to have a place that you can make snowmen and such, and just play in the snow. How fun is that! I am super excited! They have so much to do as far as a petting zoo, paddle boats, skyrides, train rides, putt putt, etc....... The past 3 years my parents have been doing these yearly passes to different places. One year it was the Georgia Aquarium, INK a children't musseum and this year the Stone Mountain Passes. We have truly enjoyed having a year pass somewhere! Especially with me staying at home with the boys it gives us something fun to do! I love gifts that make memories or gifts that you will never forget and these for sure do just that!
