Little Henry is 3

1st Birthday

2nd Birthday

3rd Birthday

On June 29th Henry Porter Pangle turned 3. We truly can't believe that our baby is now 3. This was definitely a hard pill for mama to swallow! I don't even know where to start with our Henry! He is something else! There is never a dull moment with him around. He keeps all of us and everyone around him laughing. I want to remember as much as I can about him at this age so I am going to list a few things that he is into or does or says at the moment that I don't want to forget. It is going to be in no order whatsoever so just bare with me.
1- We love his blond hair and brown eyes
2- He has a cute raspy voice
3- He is tough as nails
4- He loves loves loves his mommy at the moment
5- He never stops talking, really I mean that, you can ask anyone who is around him often.
6- He loves animals, cars, strawberry and cinnamon tot tarts (pop tarts), cocoa cuffs (cocoa puffs), loves being a baby and does not want to be a big boy, loves his big brother to death, only likes my hair in a pony tail and pitches a fit if I wear it any other way, sports, sleeping with us, the pool, playing any type of board games- that's the first thing he wants to do every morning, and loves anyone who will pay him any type of attention.
7- When he is getting ready to get in trouble he always smiles and tells me, "mommy your dress is pretty"
8-He can put on a pretty serious pouty face in a minute!
That is all of the little things that I can think of at the moment that I want to remember. We are truly blessed to have little Henry in our lives. He has added so much joy and excitement in the Pangle house. He is a constant entertainer and loves to make us laugh! We love, love, love this little boy!

Walker's First Golf Camp ~Reunion 2009~

Walker was the youngest kid at camp this year!

Walker was really pumped that he got a trophy! He won 3rd place in his flight. Throughout the week they had competitions and at the end of the week they added up all their points and gave out the trophies.

What a fun week Walker had! He absolutely loved Golf Camp. Walker really has a passion for the sport and you can tell it just watching him compared to other sports that he has played in the past. Walker is a pretty quite guy who really doesn't tell you much about what he did. When he would go to school he would never tell us about his day. One day we were leaving golf camp and I asked Walker if he was going to tell his daddy all that he learned at golf camp. Walker's response was "Yeah, because it's golf". He gets his passion honestly from his dad and grandparents. The coach was so impressed with Walker and said that he had the best swing of all the kids that were at camp. Walker is anxious to start taking lessons so we are thinking this may end up being his sport. We are so very proud of him and can't wait to many many more outings on the golf course. I told Eric that I may want to pick the sport up soon. If all my boys will be playing then I guess I need to join in on the fun! By the way doesn't "Walker Pangle" just sound like a golfer's name? You always have high expectations for your kids but maybe this will get us a scholorship one day....who knows?

Stone Mountain Trip 2

We all had a blast on the paddle boats! It was a workout though, especially when you are partnered up with Henry who can't reach the pedals! Walker and Henry ended up switching paddle boats so Walker was with me which was much easier. Have to add in that Walker and I beat Eric and Henry back to the little dock! In this house of boys everything is a race!

A little ropes course that they have! Walker loved the zip line!

We rode the tram up to the top of the mountain and the boys convinced us of walking down. All I can say is thank god we didn't try to walk up the mountain. I never thought we were going to get to the bottom of the mountain! Eric and Henry took a couple of breaks along the way. It was beautiful up there!

Walker has been wanting to do this sky hike ever since it opened. We promised him he could do it. At all hours of the day it was an hour and a half long wait. We decided to do it at the end of our day before the laser show. Walker ended up doing all 3 levels which I never thought he would do. He was absolutely fearless. He did an awesome job! Eric did it with him to and he said that it was pretty high up there. You wouldn't be able to get me on it for sure! It was a wonderful day at the Park! We can't wait to go back. We payed for all of our fun that night, waking up with Walker screaming with growing pains. I guess his little legs were busy with the paddle boats, hiking down the mountain, sky hike, and not to mention walking all over the park. From now on we will not waste our time going to the laser show. Henry was terribly scared of the fireworks and Walker fell asleep during it. I just hope Henry gets used to it considering we are going to Disney in Sept. Stone Mountain is a great and neat little park. We are looking forward to camping there in the fall.
( I post this blog for myself really so I like to mention all the details. This is like my boys baby books, scrap books, photo albums, mom's diary, etc) I want to remember all of these things and I want my boys to remember!

We love this place!

A couple of weeks ago the boys and I went to my parents for a few days! We really have a ball their. The boys love to ride the golf cart down the road to feed the horses, cows, and goats. The people who live here with all of the animals are so nice. They always invite us down to play and feed the boys snacks and popsicles. Their house is a little boys heaven with all the animals, tire swing, tree house, trampoline and much more. Walker loves to drive the golfcart which he can do all by himself! The boys didn't want to leave when we had to come back home. It was so sweet, they both said, "I wish we could live at Pop and Gran Jan's". To me their is nothing like going back home and enjoying all of the beautiful scenery and animals that is at mom and dad's. It is such a peaceful place to be! The one thing that we didn't get to do this trip was go on the boat because we had horrible storms the whole time we were their. Also one other thing that I love about this place is the little peach sheds everywhere, and produce stands on every corner. Mom and I and the boys took a ride up to Landrum and stopped by an old peach shed where they make homemade ice cream. The best blueberry ice cream I have ever put in my mouth. The neatest part about our little ice cream stop was that it came a thunderstorm while we were there as we were eating outside in the peach shed with the huge doors open. We sat in rocking chairs and watched the rain and ate ice cream. Does it really get any better than that? You would think a little town like Braselton would have things like this but so far I haven't found it. If it's here let me know so that we can enjoy it here in our hometown. I know with out a doubt I am a small town girl at heart!

Little Water Park Visit

I took the boys and one of our neighbors Trenton to a little water park close to our house. It was a really neat place and the kids had a blast! It is a place that we plan on visiting more often this summer! It's just the right size for the kids and for me to be able to take them by myself! I totally reccommend this place to anyone who lives close! It's really cheap too, 4 dollars a child 3 and up and 4 dollars an adult. Great park!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On June 6th we celebrated Eric's birthday! The boys and I made him a cake while he was out golfing with his dad who came in town. The boys wanted to make him a power ranger cake, because they said that daddy loves the power rangers! Ha Ha. We spent the rest of the day at the pool and then we headed over to the mall for another outside movie, Hotel for Dogs. We did exactly what Eric wanted to do for his birthday, which was spend family time together!! A wonderful day!

Outside Movie Night

Eric and Kevin (our neighbor) took the kids to see an outside movie at Mall of Georgia. The kids had a blast! Summer is so much fun!!!
