Christmas Eve Night

This years was our year to do Christmas with Eric's parents. They joined us for our service at church and came back to the house with us to do some of our family traditions. We enjoyed our traditional dinner of salmon stew and it was delicious! Then we let the kids open presents from us. Little Foster wasn't able to stay up for this part so there are no pictures of him.  Then we red the "''Twas the night before Christmas". We left cookies for Santa and cheese for Santa mouse and off to bed the boys went. Thankfully they were tired and very anxious to get to sleep so Santa could come. It was the perfect Christmas Eve. We a so glad to share it with Granddaddy and Grandma this year.  I think this year Eric and I were just as if not mo excited than the boys were about Christmas morning. I think Christmas truly lets you see through a child's eyes!

Christmas Eve Service

One of our families most favorite traditions is attending the Christmas Eve service at our church. Last year was really special as Foster was baby Jesus. This year I was asked to be the angel in the first service and Eric and Walker were asked to be Shepard's in the second service. It was so very special to be apart of this special service! It was truly a beautiful service with beautiful music. We are so very very blessed to be apart of such a wonderful church.

2011 Santa Picture

I love this picture! As you can see Foster really does not and I repeat does not like Santa at all! This was the best picture I could get and I do love the story it tells!

Christmas with Pop and GranJan

The weekend before Christmas we went to Spartanburg to celebrate Christmas with my parents. We had the most wonderful time celebrating with them! It's always so much fun for me to go home for the holidays! Mama always has my favorite goodies stocked and makes whatever we want for dinner! I love walking into my parents house because it is so warm and cozy. Not only do my kids get spoiled while there but I do too! We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas with them! Oh, my gift of course was the trip to New York and Eric got a fabulous grill! That was a huge surprise to him! We made some wonderful memories!

We got Pop a BB gun. The boys and Pop love going down to the lake to shoot BB's. Last time we were there Pop was having problems with the one that he already had. We thought that this would be a great gift and it was! Pop was thrilled and immediately they went down to the lake to shoot. We even bought him a couple of targets. Of course the boys loved the deer one!

This picture is hilarious! Pop and Gran Jan surprised the boys with an Xbox kinect! They thought they had died and gone to heaven. Gran Jan and Pop made them go on a scavenger hunt for it! This picture was taken right after they had found it! Can you say excited and crazy hair?

My precious Grandmothers and me!

The weekend before Christmas we won't up to Spartanburg to do Christmas with my mom and dad. We alternate the years with Eric's parents. On our way in to town we stopped for dinner and my 2 precious grandmother's met us for dinner. I am so very fortunate to still have both of them here with me! They both are so wonderful to me and my family! I cherish these moments that I get to spend with them. I love both of them dearly! They have been such wonderful grandmothers to me!
