Foster RSV

Monday I took Foster to the doctor after he had had a bad cold, and fever for several days.  Sure enough he had RSV.  We have had to do breathing treatments 4 times a day.  It has helped a ton.  Hopefully his nose will stop running very soon!  He has done so well with the treatments!

Mr. Cool

Today at Walker's school the kids can wear a hat if they bring in a dollar.  They are raising money for their Relay for Life team.  So he went upstairs to pick out a hat, and came down with his shark tooth necklace on too.  He thought he was so cool!  I love this age!  He is growing up a whole lot!

Woo hoo!

I am finally all caught up on my blog!  I don't know the last time this has happened!  It sure does feel good.  Now I am going to go curl up in my bed, listen to the rain with a cup of milk, a couple of Oreo's, and read a magazine!

Walker's Readings these days

We are truly amazed at what Walker is reading in first grade.  Since the beginning of the year, his teacher sends home a book every day and he has to read a chapter a night.  When the book is done then he has to take an AR test on it. Once he finishes a book, another one is sent home.  He is doing so well with reading and we are very proud of him.  This particular book has 13 chapters and has 158 pages. I know that I wasn't reading books like these in the first grade! We are so glad that his school and teacher puts such a big emphasis on reading.  Good job Walker!!!
