Just Pics and Visits

This was just a good lazy day at home!  We had a great visit from my dear friend Kelly O'Kelley and her little girl Tinsley.  Kelly and I were neighbors at our very first home and met 12 years ago and have remained great friends since.  Tinsley and Foster love playing together!  Such sweet times!!

July 20th ~ Coming home from the hospital

We came home from the hospital on Sunday.  It was a beautiful day outside!  When we got home mama had a delicious meal cooked and my house was so clean!  It was great coming home to my family!  The boys were thrilled to have Robert home and couldn't keep their hands off of him!  They all are smitten over him!  My best friend Mendy came in town from Charlotte to visit him!  She wanted to see him while he was still "new".  We had a wonderful wonderful visit!  Robert's going home outfit was the same outfit all of his brothers came home in.  When I was pregnant with Walker (we didn't find out sex with him either) my mom smocked a day gown that could go either way.  It is so precious that they all wore it!  Thanks Mom and Dad, and Pam and Brad for all of your help while we were in the hospital!  We are so blessed with such wonderful grandparents!

2nd day in hospital

We had a very relaxing day in the hospital.  Eric and I had a lot of alone time to just be able to love on Robert.  Unlike most people we love being in the hospital with a newborn.  We could have gone home this day but we asked if we could just stay and go home on the next day which was Sunday.  The time in the hospital (especially when you have other children at home) is wonderful.  We know that once we get home we have other children to take care of and its just hard to really relax and get to spend one on one time with the new addition.  That is why we love being in the hospital. It gives us time to just get to love on the baby and to spend quiet time together.  Don't get me wrong we love going home to see other babies!  However you will never get that one on one time back.  Uncle Ben and Aunt Martha Jane came by that evening and brought us a delicious Outback dinner.  We enjoyed visiting with them!
