Beach 2009
Warning: I have posted a ton of pictures! I am so sorry but like I have said before I am doing this for me and for my blog book that I will someday print out. I don't scrapbook or print pictures so this is for my family and for us to remember! Bare with me and all the pictures!

We had to stop right when we got into SC which is only like 50 minutes from our house and this was the rest area. Never thought a view from a rest area could be this pretty! That's SC for you!!!

We had a blast this year at the beach! The boys really had a great time and were at the perfect age this year. It was pretty easy. We look forward to this trip every year! Mom, dad, and auntie Martha Jane got to love all the boys up! My boys didn't want to leave and said that they wanted to live at the beach! It was a great time! Thanks Gran Jan and Pop for such a wonderful vacation!

Our First Garden!!!
Here are some pictures from our very first garden. We thought that it would be something fun for us and the boys to do. We actually started everything from seed except the tomato's. We all had so much fun this summer taking care of the garden. Every night the boys would go out there with Eric to water it and to look for new growth. It was truly amazing what we got just from seed. We planted corn, okra, watermelon, pumpkin, carrots, green beans, squash, cucumber, bell peppers, and tomatoes. We had no clue what we were doing actually and let the boys pick out what they wanted to. We might have our own pumpkin patch this year because our pumpkins are really taking off. The corn is doing awesome to and we will be able to harvest our corn probably sometime this week. We have learned so much this year and now we know some things that we will do differently next year so that we can have a bigger and better garden! We are actually eating our cucumber tonight for dinner in a salad, and I am making my squash tomorrow night. I will let you know how it turns out!
