Seaside Beach Vacation with Grandma and Grandpa- Day 1

The second weekend in September we went to Seaside with Grandma and Granddaddy.  This was our first trip with them to the beach.  We had the most unbelievable time!  Seaside is probably my most favorite beach.  It is just so quaint and charming.  It was such a relaxing time with our family.  We got to spend some good quality time with one another.  We enjoyed many bike rides, good food, beach time, and just hanging!  The house we stayed in was awesome and decorated so cute!  We really enjoyed our long weekend!  Thanks Grandma and Granddaddy for the great memories!!!

Foster's First day of Preschool

Foster is going to preschool this year for 2 days a week.  He is going on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 to 1.  He is loving every minute of it.  He was definitely ready to start preschool.  He has some of the sweetest teachers, Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Alyson.  They are precious and he talks about them all the time. We are excited for a fun year! Yes, his hair is slick back but it doesn't stay that way long...it is such a mess when he wakes up.  It looks much better when it dries.  And yes, he does have gum in his mouth.  Oh well!

Visiting with Aunt Julie and Aunt Kim on our way home from VA

On our way home we stopped at Aunt Julie's house.  She had a nice lunch prepared for us.  Aunt Kim and Mckenzie were also there.  We really got to see a lot of family and enjoyed every second of it!  Eric's cousins Heather and her little girl Addison, Megan (her little boy Tyler), and Thomas were also there.  We only left because we had to get home.  If not we would have stayed there longer just visiting.  We are very close to all his family!  On our way to Aunt Julie's house we stopped at a Cavern.  The boys really enjoy doing the cavern's when we are in Virginia.  They think they are so cool.  Over all we had an excellent trip!  We can't wait to go back next year!!

Not sure why this picture is so big!  It wouldn't let me change it but its cute anyways!

Our weekend in Virginia

This is our home away from home in Virginia- at Aunt Jenny's and Uncle Mike's house.  We stay with them once a year and love every second of it.  Our family loves going to Virginia and spending time with Eric's family.  We always stay at Aunt Jenny's house and we feel so welcome there.  My kids walk in and feel like they own the place.  It is such a nice break from life when we go there.  It is one of my most favorite places to go.  I could move here in a minute and my boys would too.  As you will see from the pictures below why we love it so much!  Thank you Aunt Jenny and Uncle Mike for always welcoming us with open arms!  We love yall!!!

Their backyard...so peaceful and beautiful!

It rained and their creek was flowing and this is what the kids decide to do....So much fun!! Oh of course Lindsey's gang comes over and always hangs out with us!  They have 4 kids with another on the way.  Their boys are my same boys ages.  My boys love their second cousins!!
