Sick baby, and sleeping baby

This past week Henry had a stomach bug.  He was so pitiful!  This was one afternoon and he had fallen asleep on the couch and little Foster was sleeping too in his bouncy seat.  It was such a cozy, lazy afternoon at our house.  These are days that I hope they remember when they grow up.....laying around and mama taking care of them.

Henry doing his "job"

We have been practicing with Henry on writing his name.  He is in Pre-K now and really should know how to write his name without scribble scrabbling.  Walker was doing this by age 3, but they are two totally different people.  I have to remind myself not to compare.  Walker loved the challenge and loved to learn early on.  Henry would rather learn some new dance moves than write his name.  However, we are starting Kindergarten next year so we have to start preparing him.  He was so funny this day practicing.  He kept saying, "leave me alone, I am doing my job".  Such a funny kid, all the time!

Walker LOVES Foster

To me the sweetest thing is to see Walker with Foster!  I love the age difference between them.  He is so in love with Foster that it is crazy!  The first thing that he does when he comes home from school is run over to see Foster.  It just makes my heart melt!  He is going to take care of Foster for sure!  I love their relationship and can't wait to see it grow!

Hanging Out

A little tummy time

My friend Mendy

Last week I had 2 of my very best friends come and visit me.  Mendy came on Thursday to visit and have lunch.  It was such a good visit!  Wish it could have been longer as always!  Then on Friday my friend Carrie came to visit (didn't have camera out so no pic ):  ).  Again, a wonderful visit and wish that it could have been longer!  Once little man starts sleeping through the night then we are having a girl's night out!  Those are always the best!!!  Love my girlfriends!

Sock Puppets with Gran Jan

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful Mom and Mother- In- Law.  They both were able to come down and help out when I had Foster.  It was great having them here to help take care of the boys and helping Eric and I.  We couldn't have gotten past the first couple of weeks if it weren't for them.  Henry has been dying to do sock puppets.  Gran Jan promised him that when she came to help she would bring stuff to make them.  She always keeps her promise and brought tons of things to make sock puppets.  They had so much fun and had a blast putting on puppet shows.
