A few weeks ago, Henry had a major major meltdown and so did I! He was being soooooo bad this afternoon. I picked him up from school and we went to get his hair cut. He acted like a fool before we even got out of the car saying that he was not going to get his hair cut. I did not even take him into the salon b/c I knew that he would embarrass me. One by one I told him of different things that I was going to take away if he would not calm down and get his hair cut. He didn't care about anything that I was saying and I was left with nothing else to take away....at this point I really wanted to beat him (not really but you know). I told him that when we got home that he was going to stay in his room until his daddy got home. I was in the computer room and I looked out the hall and this is what I saw. If you know Henry he has never been one to take naps at all. This was a shock but a good one! My neighbor came over and said, "Ellen you might want to move him so he doesn't roll down the steps". I said, "Well at this point I really don't care if he does". I was really just joking so I moved him back away from the steps. Needless to say this was a terrible day for us both. Thank goodness it doesn't happen often! When he woke up he was great and so was I.
