Pumpkin Carving

The boys had a great time carving.  Well, except for Henry.  He gets it honest from me.  He could really care less.  Eric pretty much carved his.  It was a perfect night for it.  We went to go buy pumpkins and Walmart was sold out, Kroger was sold out, so we bought these beautiful pumpkins at Publix for 5.99 a piece.  They were the prettiest pumpkins we have ever had (remember we ran out of time to get them at the pumpkin patch lol). I don't think the boys will mind if we do this in the future either!  More pics to come of the final product!

Playing in Leaves

Nature Walk

Me and my little man went on a nature walk through the neighborhood to collect leaves.  We got some beautiful leaves.  We made 2 placemats with them.  I forgot to take a picture of them.  We had a great time just talking.  He is a sweetheart!

Foster's last ball game/ trophy

Well we had a good season until the end.  Foster became a bit of an emotional wreck on the baseball field towards the end.  One game, Grandma took him because Eric and I had already committed to something at the church.  Needless to say, he didn't play that game.  He was crying because he wanted his daddy.  Then, here at his last game he pretty much cried the entire game. We have no idea why.  One time he said that the sun was too bright....Emotional Wreck.  He had a great time the majority of the season but just didn't end it on a great note.  We are starting to see that he has been an emotional wreck a lot lately.  We know that it is because of the baby.  He has voiced this and we are fully aware of it now.  He was the baby for 4 years.  His world has been rocked.  He is trying to find his place and where he fits in.  We love this child and we know that it will get better!  I just went off on another topic.  However back to baseball.  I do need to brag a bit.  It was Rookie league and they try to hit the coaches pitch 3 times.  If they can't hit the coaches pitch then they can use the tee.  Foster consistently hit it off the coaches pitch.  Every time he hit it, the ball went really far.  His coach couldn't believe it.  He is a baller and we hope he continues it.  However he says he wants to do soccer in the Spring.  That will be fun!

Robert 3 months ~ October 18th

Time needs to slow the heck down.... I can't believe my baby is 3 months old.  He is truly the best baby I have ever seen.  He really never cries.  We are just so in love with this sweet thing its ridiculous!  Robert, you have stolen our hearts!  Happy 3  months sweet boy!

Things you are doing at 3 months:
sucking your thumb like a champ, sleeping from 7:30 at night till about 8:30 in the morning.  You sleep straight through the night and you have been doing this since you were 4 weeks old.  Your sleep habits are simply amazing and we are praying it stays this way.  You coo and goo.  You always have your thumb, fingers in your mouth.  You love laying on your floor mat and watching the lights and mobile.  You are not grabbing things all the time.  YOU are simply amazing!
* I couldn't help but post all these pictures because they all are just too cute!

Washington Farms Pumpkin Patch

We had a blast this year at Washington Farms.  Foster really enjoyed it all and was too cute.  I love how the big boys do all the little kid things with him without complaining.  We had to ask them and they jumped right in and did it.  I love my boys!!  We had all intentions on getting a pumpkin but ran out of time. Ha Ha.  We were having too much fun playing and then it got dark on us.  We love this place and it is one of our fall traditions!

Mama's Thumb Sucker!!

Yay!! I finally have a thumb sucker!!  I am stoked.  I was a huge thumb sucker myself and I am a huge advocate for it.  I loved my thumb and to this day remember just what it taste like.  My other boys were big paci babies.  Robert found his around 2 months 3 weeks.  He pretty much found his thumb immediately.  It is the cutest thing ever!  I love how much it calms a baby and we never have to go find it....Its always there!  I hope this thumb sucking lasts!
*he even sucks the same thumb I did when I was little.
