Day 3 Spring Break-

On Sunday we went to Aunt Jenny's church.  We loved being able to visit their church and their church family.  It is a bunch of super sweet people.  The church had a big lunch after the service, and let me tell you, it was delicious!  The boys enjoyed the afternoon playing outside with their dog "Tipsy", and the horse, "lady".  That afternoon we headed over to have dinner at Aunt Helen's.  Aunt Helen is Eric's great aunt.  She cooked a delicious meal.  We enjoyed visiting with her and the boys loved playing games with Aunt Helen, and hiding Easter eggs.  Aunt Helen is a precious lady that we love spending time with!  She made a peanut butter pie that was out of this world.  Needless to say, we all put on a few pounds after all the wonderful meals the family cooked for us!

Spring Break 2011 Vacation to Virginia Day 2

This week is the boys Spring Break.  We decided to head down to Virginia to visit family.  We left on Friday and stopped on our way down to visit Aunt Julie and her family.  My camera was out of batteries so unfortunately I didn't get any pictures there.  We had a great visit with Aunt Julie, Aunt Kim, Heather and baby Addison, Tad, and Thomas.  Thanks for letting us stay the night.  On Saturday morning we left Julies and drove 2 hours to Aunt Jenny's.  We got to her house around lunch time.  Alot of the family came to Jenny's to visit and have dinner with us.  It was so good visiting with family that we only see once a year, sometimes every other year.  We sure did enjoy our visit in Waynesboro.  These pictures were taken on that Saturday.

Kindergarten Registration

Last week we took Henry to Kindergarten Roundup so register for Kindergarten.  He was so excited, however you can't tell by the picture below.  Walker's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Johnston, was the one that took him back to do several tests.  Henry did remarkably well.  Mrs. Johnston said that he was definitely ready for Kindergarten.  I can't believe that my baby is going to be starting Kindergarten in August.  It seems like yesterday I took Walker to register for Kindergarten.  Time sure does fly.  We know that Henry will do well and we are so proud of the little boy he is becoming!  We love you Henry!

Walker Cutting a Rug at his AR Party at School

We went to Walker's school last Friday for his AR party.  This is an accelerated reading party that they do every quarter.  The kids have been learning the "Ice Cream and Cake", and "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" dance during P.E. At the end of the AR party all of the kids, parents, and teachers all went down on the gym floor and the kids did the dance.  Eric and I were in complete Shock at Walker's performance.  If you know him, you know that this is a big deal!  He is usually so shy and just usually would stand there.  We were so pumped.  Needless to say, Walker has a little rhythm , and he is definitely coming out of his shell!  We love this kid and his dance moves!  Henry better watch out!

Boys going Golfing

This isn't the best picture ever, they were not really in the mood for a picture but I had to take one anyway.  Walker has started golf lessons on Thursday nights.  This was before his first lesson.  Eric ended up taking Henry as well, so that they two could go hit a few balls.  They had a great time and Eric said that Walker did Awesome!  He is taking lessons at Reunion again this year.
