9 Year Anniversay- Glass Blowing
Eric and I celebrated our 9 year Anniversary on May 25th. He surprised me with our date night. All I knew was that the boys were going to be spending the afternoon at Aunt Martha Jane's and we were going out. He told me that I had to wear jeans, cotton t shirt and tennis shoes. That completely threw me off. Needless to say I was completely surprised when we pulled up at Siyeh Glass Studio. I never would have guessed that! It was a private 2 hour session with us and the instructor. They had a cheese and cracker tray and our favorite beer waiting on us. We laughed hard, got extremely sweaty, made cute flowers and paper weights, and had a ball! After we left there we had dinner on a rooftop over looking the city! It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary! We both are just as happy now as we were 9 years ago. I am already starting to plan our 10 year anniversary trip to an island! Thanks honey for a wonderful 9 years!
No Training Wheels
On May 22, Henry learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels! Eric worked with him forever in the hot, hot sun! They both were dripping sweat but the goal was accomplished. He is so proud of himself and we are too! He now can keep up with the other kids in the neighborhood and his cousins! Way to go Henry
Henry's Last Baseball Game/ Weekend
Eric's parents were in town this past weekend. Eric's parents have purchased a home in a neighborhood close to ours. They felt like the deal was too good not to pass up and they are planning on moving down here in 4 years once Brad retires. They have been coming up on the weekends to do some things around the house. I will post a picture of the house on another post. They joined us for Henry's last baseball game of the season which was scorching hot!!! We are glad he is done with baseball! He wasn't a big fan of baseball and actually dreaded it! He says that he wish he would have played soccer. Soccer is fast and more of wild man Henry's sport, I do believe. We left the baseball game and headed down to Braselton's Beach Bash. It was a great event that our city held. They had jumpies, face painting, sand art, lots of food, and different vendors set up, plus a Jimmy Buffet cover band. All of the activities for the kids were free, which made it even better! We had a great family Saturday!!

Walker 1st Grade Awards Day/ Last Day of school
Walker had an amazing year! Again, we were blessed with a wonderful teacher. She made the kids love to learn. I just hope we continue to be blessed with great teachers for our kids! He got accepected into the gifted program, which we are so excited about! He made some great friends this year, several which were from his kindergarten class. He loves school and especially loves recess! We are so proud of you and know that you will have another wonderful year next year. Now let's let summer begin!!!!
Henry's Preschool Graduation
My middle baby has graduated from preschool! Pop and Gran Jan were able to come to his graduation which meant the world to him! I can't believe it! He had a wonderful year at Celebration Academy this year. His teacher's Mrs. Carol, and Mrs. Jada were so precious! They loved Henry so much! We all had to have an end of the year conference with the teachers. Henry's teachers wrote this in his folder:
"Henry is a bright boy with an amazing sense of humor. He makes us smile each day with his jokes and stories. He always tries his best, and he is very kind to all his friends. Henry is very helpful and polite. He has been a joy to have in class". I think this is the best thing a parent can hear about their child. Good job Henry! We have a lot of work to do this summer to prepare him for Kindergarten. We are so proud of you big boy!
