My Baby is 5!!!!!
On December 30th my little baby, Walker turned 5. I cannot believe it! It really seems just like yesterday that he was born. He has truly added so much joy to our lives the past 5 years! I couldn't imagine life with out him. He is the sweetest little boy who has become very shy the older he gets! He gets that from his mommy! I am just going to tell you a little bit about him. He loves power rangers, spider-man, any super hero. He loves to play with his cousin JL and Mac. He has become such good friends with our neighbor's kids and loves to explore outside. This weekend they were trying to dig a hole to China. Who hasn't tried to do that as a kid? He is the best big brother and would do anything for Henry! He is such an intelligent little boy who thinks that he knows everything, and most of the time he is right. Eric and I just sit back and laugh at him. He has the brightest little face that I have ever seen! He has gorgeous eyes just like his daddy. I love how he takes up for his brother and cries when Henry gets in trouble. His favorite food is spaghetti o's and meatballs. He is very particular with the clothes that he wears. He has a head full of hair that is hard to maintain but one day when he is older he will be thankful for it! He loves to play sports and doesn't really have a favorite yet. I am sure that I could keep going on but I just wanted to hit a few highlights, especially for me to remember when I look back! These past 5 years have been the best years of our lives! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful son! We love you Walker!!!!!!!
His 5 year old check up stats:
Weight- 43.5 67%
Height- 45.5 91%
Walker grew a total of 4 inches in one year. The doctor couldn't believe it! She said that, that was a lot to grow in a year. No wonder he has been having growing pains. Also, I am taking him to a pediatric orthopedic tomorrow because he has had a little growth on the side of his foot. It appeared about a month ago and the doctor just wants to make sure that everything is ok. He had xrays done and nothing showed up but she still wants a specialist to take a look at it. So keep us in your prayers tomorrow.

This year for christmas my parents got us a trip to the mountains. We had a great time! We left the Friday after Christmas and then came home the following morning! The house was great! You felt like you were in Cracker Barrel! It was so cozy and had just everything that we needed. We spent alot of time just hanging out in the cabin. There were lots of games from the Wii, pool, ping pong, and sequence! One night mom and dad stayed back with the boys and the big kids all went skiing. Kim actually stayed in the lodge and enjoyed spending some time on the computer while Mason, Martha Jane, Eric, and I enjoyed the slopes! Mason, MJ, and I are all pretty equal skiers! Eric decided this year that he would try snow boarding. He was pretty much on his own but had a great time. Towards the end once he figured it out he joined us. That was so much fun, I wish that I could go ski more often! Anyways, the trip was awesome and I look forward to doing it again! Thanks mom and dad!!!!

Christmas Morning!
Here are a few pictures from Christmas morning at our house. Santa thought the boys were pretty good this year! I think maybe Santa thought the parents were bad. Why in the world would he leave drums for a 5 and 2 year old, and light sabres that, well can be dangerous? I see a copay in our near future! Walker's favorite thing was the drums. Henry's favorite thing was his "neigh" book and of course Walker's drums. They loved everything that they got and it was the perfect morning! I love all of the chaos! We left the house at 10:30 to head to Spartanburg to spend Christmas Day with my family. I will have a separate post of that.
